I personally have the opinion that refuge status in a country is not a big issue and nothing to do with canadian immigration. All you have to do is that to prove that you left Australia legally and without depotation or any type of criminal record while staying in that country. Lets come up...

The most important thing at this point is not that they will refuse the case bec you applied as a refuge in Australia. But the important thing is , can you arrange police clearance certificate from australia. I guess that you have been living there for more than 6 months.
