No kavya ....they send the MR by registered post........it can be anything.....if you are lucky your MR will come first and then the status will go Inprocess......but getting the status changed first and then getting the MR is more probable.... Cheers Gav

Yes my friend....send an e-mail to CHC mentioning that your passport is expiring and you need to get a new one made, tell them to return the passport and you will send the new passport once you get it......then get the passport made under tatkal scheme......send it again to high...

Rakesh Brother...I guess this is not going to work ....even if VO issues a VISA with a validity till may ....he won't be able to fly....getting a ticket and traveling will not be permitted.......this happened to our doctor sahab........when his visa was issued he had a validity of 5 months in...

I second that.....Validity of your VISA is 1 yr from the date of Medical...or expiration of passport which ever is earliest.....as your passport is expiring on 1st may .....write an e-mail to CHC explaining the situation....they will send the passport back....get the new passport made and send...

Well brother...at this time wait.....your status will change to in process then medical request+RPRF and Passports will be asked...about the time line....no one can tell you there are people who are waiting for more than a year to get the status changed....but since you are post 26/6 applicant...

Thanks jonty.!!!...Brother but this is not at all true that you get VISA with in 1 week of RPRF.....it took me almost 6 months after submitting the PP....my RPRF recpt came in 15 days ....there are ppl who are waiting for good 5-6 months....on an average it takes 60 days....you may get it early...
