just to add to jassi....If you are from delhi ...then you can download form number 2 from the passport website.....fill it up.....go to the passport office at bhikaji kama place......early in the morning....stand in the queue for some time....submit it and by after noon take the PCC...

Brother..VISA or no VISA bala jee...but yes have been to chilkur bala jee ....and will surely recommend if you are planning to visit hyderabad.....the trip was fun.......you go to the country side......small temple with a lot of young devotees ....no one ask for money.......no one street vendor...

Brother...CHC took for ever ....i sent got my medicals done on 13 OCT 2010...sent the passports on 14th OCt which reached on 15th OCT...then received the VISA on 2nd April 2011......VISA was stamped on 29th March 2011....so they tool almost 6 months to return the passports....to be precise they...

No they don't.....what they do is...they send your application to your desired branch in canada......you get an e-mail from the bank mentioning your account number....then you are allowed to do one remittance.....they give you a certificate mentioning that this much of money was transfered to...

Just to add to mezo ...about taking the funds along.....you can open a scotia bank account in india....transfer the funds to your account in canada.....you will get a certificate of account statement which can be used as POF at the port of entry.. Cheers Gav

Yes a forum member thomas78 did this.....he called his passports....mailed again and after 20-25 days got stamped passports back....happened with my friend......kind of similar thing for him..... again upto you.....yes it delays the process but how much....i am not sure....i have seen people...

Well....It will surely delay the process....but 6 months i am not...as i have seen 3-4 guys doing that but their VISA came within 30-40 days of re-submission...... So i would say.....it is upto you to prioritize ....yes mezo is right.....getting canada PR is certainly big....but only you know...

Brother....They are not going to expedite the processing....In my opinion .....Write an e-mail to them telling you need to do a business travel.....tell them you are going for a training......let them know about your travel dates and tell them to send the passport back....and you will re-submit...
