Dear friends, I am so disappointed. My application (sent on 03 April) is still stuck at Mississauga Customs Office in Canada. It is the middle of the month now and I have no hopes of my application reaching Nova Scotia soon :( - STS

As far as some of us understand the changes, you will get an opportunity to submit your IELTS score along with the full documentation to be submitted at the visa office within 120 days of receiving an AOR from Nova Scotia. So please plan to take the IELTS test accordingly. Regards, STS

It is probably the same in New Delhi GPO as well. Not only speed post, but I have heard some packages from courier companies have also been delayed including DHL and UPS. I will wait for some more days in hope that something will move in Canada customs! Regards, STS

Hey Mostafa, Most people in the recent past have been receiving the AOR from Nova Scotia through email. Be sure to check your SPAM/Junk folders closer to the date when you are expecting to receive AOR - anywhere from 45 - 60 days from the receipt of the application. Good luck! Regards, STS

Hi sahillsea None of us know when the rules are likely to change. There is a rumour that they will change in May 2010. However, there is no update on the CIC site yet other than the fact that they are evaluating the 38 NOCs. My suggestion: - Apply when you are still eligible. Who knows...

Great progress for everyone! My package has reached Canada 'International item arrived in Canada and will be reviewed by Customs' Hoping that it will be at Nova Scotia early next week... Will keep you posted.
