    Struggling to Find Right Course

Hi All, I have a 3 years B.Sc (hons.) degree in diverse science (mainly Chemistry and Environmental Science) from the UK. I wish to study at postgraduate level preferrably a Masters Degree or a Post graduate diploma in one of the above mentioned fields but struggling to find any Canadian...

I see you've underperformed in speaking in your second attempt compared to the first one, any particular reason ? Based on the results of your first test you'd have been awarded 6 (full) points but with the second test result you'll be able to score 5 points (3 for listening + 2 for speaking)...

I would have quoted the reference in my first post had I known about it but you should have at least thought twice before advising somebody to divorce his wife. I understand you're not married yet but you're intelligent enough to foresee the possible implications of your comments/advice. At the...

Should have read the complete sentence mate. "In my opinion, you can apply for CSQ as single i.e. someone who is not accompanied by his spouse". But unfortunately another great example of thickness has been set yet again. Bravo ! Lol, people don't like to be corrected these days i guess, fair...

I think you got hamadaahmed's point wrong. He wants to apply as a married person but doesn't want to include his wife in the immigration selection process (per se the spouse will not be accompanying him) as she doesn't score enough points. A married person applying for CSQ without wife fills out...

Yes I am glad you brought that up but quite disappointed with your comments. I think you owe an apology to all the people on this forum since you have misguided them all on this particular topic. You should have at least once checked the guidelines and then commented any further. It takes quite...

@ hamadaahmed In my opinion, you can apply for CSQ as single i.e. someone who is not accompanied by his spouse. No need to show that you're divorced / separated. You will require 55 points to qualify for CSQ instead of 63 poinits, if your wife is not accompanying you. @ Shahi Can you quote...

QUEBEC CSQ ...... AREA OF TRAINING POINTS .... CONFUSED

Well the fact is that you require 55 points for CSQ but usually people think that scoring 49 points without the interview means they have qualified, which is mostly not the case. A single person must score 55 points out of which 6 points are for adaptability which are evaluated and awarded...

QUEBEC CSQ ...... AREA OF TRAINING POINTS .... CONFUSED

Hi Sasa80 I know you have asked for PMM and LEAON's opinion but I couldn't resist to reply. IMO, you will not be awarded any points as the duration of your study is far less than the time required for a diploma that qualifies somebody for points entitlement.

Immica For Principal applicant, 2 points are awarded for A1 and 6 points if you have passed A2. For spouse/de facto spouse, 2 points are awarded for A1 or A2. Hope this helps :)

It depends on where you're applying from and other factors also count. It would helpful if you tell us about your country of permanent residence, education & experience etc. Ideally it could take anywhere between 12 - 24 months. Others pls comment !

Shahi We also have classes on alternating days (3 days a week but 3 hours class instead of 2). I suppose the only difference is that our classes for each level run for 5 weeks whereas yours for 10 weeks and that's why we have to pass three levels instead of two. I was curious to find out about...
