Hi Sasa80

I know you have asked for PMM and LEAON's opinion but I couldn't resist to reply. IMO, you will not be awarded any points as the duration of your study is far less than the time required for a diploma that qualifies somebody for points entitlement.

Well the fact is that you require 55 points for CSQ but usually people think that scoring 49 points without the interview means they have qualified, which is mostly not the case. A single person must score 55 points out of which 6 points are for adaptability which are evaluated and awarded during the interview. Hence if you want an interview waiver you should be able to score 55 points without needing to score 6 points for adaptability. Also bear in mind that the points are awarded in three steps as follows:

1- First the candidate has to score a minimum of 42 points (single) or 50 points (married) based on the criteria of Qualification, Experience, Age, linguistic Knowledge, Stay and family to the Quebec, Offers validated job and, if need be, Characteristic of the spouse or spouse de facto that accompanies.

2- Then all the factors are taken into consideration and at this stage a single candidate must score at least 49 points whereas the requirement for a married person is 57 points.

3- The 6 points for adaptability are awarded in the interview and if a single candidate scores 55 points without the 6 points for adaptability, he/she is given CSQ without an interview. In order to be eligible for interview waiver, a married candidate has to score 63 points without taking into consideration the points for adaptability.

Make sure you score required points at each stage of the selection process otherwise you might have to face disappointment.
As for points for your area of training, to be honest, it's something which is very much debatable. You will need to put forth a very strong arguement to satisfy the case-worker that you haven't repeated the same modules that you studied in US diploma. Only then you may be awarded points equivalent to a 3 years diploma. But I must say it's worth a try if you're willing to take the gamble !

All the best !

Really Thank you very much acemsyed
that's very helpful information show that you read a lot about it ... after I went back to my points again and been sharp I discovered I will get 10 points in the education area (0 points in area of traning ) ....experince 6 points ....age16 points... english 6 points French 6 points (now i'm basic which is 6 points) but plan to take courses in the coming months.. 1 point for finance so the total is 45 points so i'm single no job offer or family in Quebec .... do you think it's better to wait till Dec. and go to montreal and apply from there or now i'm sacre about change of law???????
