Congratulations Aspire! So how was the exam like? Would appreciate if you can give us some pointers. How different is it from NCLEX? Have started reviewing and noticed that CRNE attacked the questions much differently from how NCLEX is doing it. Is this true n the actual exam? :) Again...

My apologies. Ir's not Saunder's. I was referring to Mosby's comprehensive CRNE review book. Lippincott is purely Q&A's only.

Go to amazon.ca; you'll find a lippincott and saunders for CRNE there. Do not use NCLEX reviewer as from my observation CRNE questions are presented so diffferently from NCLEX. Other lab values are different as well, and of course the legal and cultural aspects are different too.

You'll get it. Given that CI is different from NOC 3152, it is still under category A in the NOC list thus a point should still be awarded to you. Remeber skills under NOC category 0, A and B are eligible for extra points.

DGM, I am wishing you and your family all the best. If you will be asking everyone the same question over and over again, and you were saying that each one has its own opinion, then it's gonna be futile in the end to even ask, right? After all, each case is different from one another. Why...

DGM, Not to be rude or anything but you are becoming a nuisance now. Your question is ad nauseum. It's the same question that you had been asking over and over again not only from this forum but from the Fil forum as well. Anyways, if you have a staff nurse experience for one year then that...

Hi! Regardless of how long the work experience is, it is a mandatory requirement across Canada for the RN applicant to have a BSN. If you don't have this, you won't be able to apply and work as an RN. The only solution to this problem is for the applicant to study again and obtain a BSN degree.

CPRNE. You will not be allowed to take the CRNE since you do not have a BSN.

You need to have a BSN (this is a MUST) if you want to work as an RN in Canada. Prior to the changes in the application process made last June, ACADEMIC IELTS used to be accepted but people are saying now that the CIO became stricter with this requirement and would only accept GENERAL module.

do they give time limit to submit passport for visa ( all those who got PR Visa)

Chef, Your local visa office is the one in Kingston, Jamaica, right? The answer to your question is NO. They don't give a time frame. But I guess with any local visa office, once they requested for your passport, they expect you to submit it the soonest time possbile. In my case, I got my...

Buy a house or build your own?

Guys, thanks for the reply. Lemme just clear what I meant when I said "build your own". I was not really referring to myself building the house on my own, but more like to purchase a land, hire an architect and have the house built by a contractor. Is this cheaper as opposed to buying an...

VANCOUVER vs TORONTO for Nurses,CI (registration, survival jobs &cost of living)

Im landing in November. Will just stay there for 1 week. I'll come back end of January though for a couple of weeks vacation and to take the CRNE in Feb 2. :) Don't know anyone who's applying in SK, its not a very common area of interest to new comers to tell you honestly as the weather there...
