no need to inform them but you have to make & sign a new contract which you'll be needing when you're about to file for OPEN WORK PERMIT & PERMANENT RESIDENT VISA.

I already have a letter from my employer that I immediately handed in together with my passport & work permit, so he didn't call my employer anymore to verify & just checked from their computer if I my application is already in process...

If I were you, I will submit it tomorrow morning! Don't worry, it will be on e-cas pagbalik mo pa dito. I submitted mine APRIL 24, they rcvd it APRIL 28 & processed JULY 9. Same thing with other applicants since 2009. Pray ka lang, wag na worry! Kung ako lng yung gaya mo na may valid WP & TRV...

oh yes, you don't have to worry about your TRV even if it's in ur old passport as long as you will bring it with you it is still valid! Last yr. it happened to me too, my TRV was on d old passport & I've decided to renew for Machine Readable (Maroon) even if it's not expired yet & when I return...

naku, dapat dito pa lang sa Canada kumuha ka na ng re-entry VISA! wag ka aalis ng walang TRV ha. Kapag meron kang TRV, WORK PERMIT & LETTER FROM YOUR EMPLOYER, wla ka na magiging problema nyan. Basta have faith in GOD! Follow your heart, ganyan din ako before gulong-gulo ako at marami din ako...

@tinkermarie naku,hindi ba sayang yung 2months halos? kung ako sa iyo, i-file mo na now kasi hindi naman nila agad nabubuksan, it will take 2-3months bago nila simulan i-process esp.nowadays. Atleast habang nasa Pinas ka,umaandar na din yung application mo,di ba? But it is still up to you...Good...
