As of now, 11months from the day they have received your application. I have submitted mine, April 2010, hopefully by March or earlier will have my OPEN WORK PERMIT, God willing :)

Thank God! My family finally received the LC2 KIT from the Canadian Embassy. My Husband is gathering & completing all the forms, hoping to submit it back after 2weeks...Thanks for the prayers! God bless us all!

Based on my experiences, as long as you have your re-entry VISA, Valid work permit & letter from your Employer, they would allow you to come back & re-enter CANADA, the longest that I have been on vacation was 4months. Thank God, I have had no problems upon re-entry!!!

whoaaaa this is really gonna be a long wait for us who applied with dependents! God movees in mysterious ways! no doubt with it :) God bless us all!

@ARGY - when I called CIC once, the agent was friendly enough to check my file & was able to see that the application for my dependents was already sent to CEM but up to now, they haven't rcvd the LC2 KIT yet, praying & hoping that it will arrive soon, so the ball can start rolling :)

Thanks angellois & rosellyalung! CIC told me that once sent to MNL, they can't see any information unless the Embassy of Canada there would update. So I guess have to wait for few more days before we can actually follow it up in the Embassy. God bless us all! Have a Merry Christmas & Blessed...
