Can an employer hire me even if I don't have status ..

I am sorry, I think I am confused here. The work permit, it is applied BY the person who wants it. For example my husband wants a work permit, then he applies for it, pays the fees and hopefully gets it. Aren't all work permits applied for that way?

HI Choco: To tell the truth, back in the beginning of this year, my boyfriend (now husband) and I asked ourselves some very good questions: does he stay in Peru and we do the OUTLAND application and wait 6-9 months before we can see each other again? Or do we get him here and we do the INLAND...

Hi Jeremy: I have a feeling the comon-law applications might warrant more investigation from IO's part. My husband and I married and my application maybe was very persuasive? I am not sure. I know that even Out timeline (6 months from beginning to end) is unusual for inland application. All I...

    bad Interview - decision made

Re: bad Interview Curina, you will NOT go crazy, for your sake's and your baby's. Abusive, inappropriate people are EVERYWHERE. Do your appeal and guide your rightful anger towards seeing this process to the end. You will be stronger at the end of all this. Best,

I met my husband in Peru ( I am Peruvian Canadian myself) in Sept 2006. He was friend of a friend. Supporting Documents - How much is too much ?

I really don't really think that Less is better. I think the Better organized and concise the Better:) And I doubt that most fakers would fake 10 pounds of evidence. Also most people don't want to be apart from their spouses even a Day, much less a PR procedure PLUS an APPEAL!! No, I say: Do it...

As long as you have the ID number (and even if I didnt, I would still send the stuff) it should be easy. Find out the correct address and do it:) You have NOTHING to lose and everything to gain from it. Best of luck, A

can we get our things back after the tempet is over ?

Wow...you are saying that some offices give stuff back? Lima doesn't, unless you go to the office and ask for it and if they feel like it, they might. Inland Vegreville, doesn't return anything, as far as I know.

Supporting Documents - How much is too much ?

Regarding emails and MSN msgs. I had tons and tons and tons of that. Yet I chose to send very few of that. I chose to send some chronological, and also pieces of conversations or emails that showed: Arguments between us. Love promises or such things, of course. Plans for the future! And some...

Can I use the political situation in my spouse's homeland to help sponsor him?

If you need to give reasons why you want to return to Canada...why yes! That is a reason as powerful as any!. I would draw that point that my child needs to be in a non-violent place, like no one's business. Any other opinions out there?
