So what do they the letter which tells you that your are eligible to sponsor if not called AOR... Coz in my case I got a letter after three or four month which I was under impression called AOR.. Which gave me information that I am e elegible to sponsor n now file is in islamabad with my wife...

Well if m not wrong so UCI is the number that belongs to the one who is sponsoring not to the one who is being spinsored and that number you don't get it through AOR , Though it is written in that piece of paper which we call AOR but that number is your account number which stayes with you...

AOR ( Acknowledgment of Receipt ) is exactly what you have already received .. It gives you information about your spouse's File/application number also tells you that you are eligible to Sponsor and your file have been forwarded to ISB/Ottawa...

I have the same thing as urs.. And to be honest it is nothing but just an additional useless information... Coz I got right after my Ecas started working.. So still keep praying... INSHALLAH will get it on the right time ...

I was reading other forum which have the time line for Ottawa ppt.. So almost 60% people got their status changed after E-cas is back in service ... So it could be a mistake or may b they were updating applicants status.. That's y it was down.. Anyways I am very much hopeful that early 2012...
