I've found a number of places already that offer TEFL courses from the list of accepted designated learning institutions http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/study/study-institutions-list.asp

Does anyone know if any TEFL courses would be eligible to gain a student visa?

If i'm actively employed are there any options as far as an extension goes? Also, i've heard i can apply online to extend my stay as a "tourist" for 6 months. Does anyone know about that? Again, many thanks! Tom

Ok cool. So on the form where it asks for current country of residence do i put my UK address or Canadian one? If i put my UK address do you not think that they'll see from my passport stamps that i'm still in Canada. Are you reapplying again yourself?
