Hello,

Has anyone recently completed a spousal sponsorship application that could help us?

The following question: Is there more information you wish to share to support your relationship?
We obviously have lots of things we can include. Flight tickets together, photos from our wedding etc etc
But this section appears to be purely text only so we aren't sure if we should write anything or not.

Which form number (e.g. IMM5533 etc.) and question number or section within that form are you referring to?

It is only that Section 7 on IMM5533 (page 6 of 6) has a whole section on this and is pretty self-explanatory and seems to cover stuff you have mentioned??

OK, so yes, this is text only here. This is where you can free format your 'love story' - how you met, how your relationship developed, why you are now living as you are etc. If insufficient space, put a note 'refer attached appendix' and create a separate sheet with your details on it, sign and date it etc.

You will find that the stuff like photos, airline stubs etc. is requested in the checklist - IMM5589 - 'Supporting documents for PA', question 7 (page 6 of 6). BY all means cross refer to this section as well, but CIC will of course see it anyway! I agree that the way the forms are devised means that stuff is a bit scattered over different forms, but hey - they designed them that way!
