No it can't be 6 months. The application is in Cairo right now. I'm asking how much longer from now.

So after you send your application to CIC do you receive a confirmation that they received your file or anything? We sent our application 2 weeks ago, when are we supposed to hear from them? Thank you.

No they only give you a document after you do the medical exam which you include in your application. They forward the results and you never know them ;D

You're welcome. Make sure you give them the names written exactly like the passports (I stapled a paper with correctly spelled names to each document)
