Good. If you are in Canada, the CIC may extend the medical examination for you. Now, the only thing you can do is waiting. Nothing else.

For most of us, medical exam is only valid for one year. If you do not get your PPR within this one year, you have to make another medical exam. Right now, it's April 2012. For Safavakili, it is almost one year after he did his medical examination.

Are you inland applicant? If not, you may need to take new medical examination.

I think you should contact them and ask what happened.
