that's not the case brother. One of my friends re-applied after one refusal on 12th Dec and he got his visa on 20th of Dec. He applied online. So it is a total luck factor.

Although I hope we will get visa this week, I am worried as travel date is close.

They will give a decision on your visa very soon. And the processing time depends on from application to application. Also, country, where you are applying for a student visa, plays a role in your processing time. Like in India, processing time is just 14 days. I have seen few of my friends...
