You should start applying by now. Check the University/College web page for more information. International students are advised to apply 5-6 months in advanced as time will be needed to apply student visa.

How do i attest my college diploma cert. if the college i studied(1994) don't exist anymore? Is there any other way? I.e. comm. of oath?

Its best to ask the college itself. You can also ask much more questions...click their "contact us" option and look for the email address provided.

Q2) Once i get the visa do i need a job letter in case if immigration officer ask me when i try to re-enter in Canada? Correct me if i am wrong. I think one need a job letter to apply for work visa. Having a work permit without a job i think is an impossible situation. I dunno my suggestion...

You can start applying by 2nd half of the 2nd year...it is advised to apply 5-6 months in advanced for University admission and Visa application process. Applying earlier will save you a lot of time as the whole process takes months.

I think IELTS will strengthen your case...u should do it...moreover a lot of Universities uses it to gauge its future students ability to converse in english.

i think the passage to PR will be easier thru business visa...

In your case...i am assuming you are from Pakistan(a country where english is not the 1st language). I guess taking IELTS will be an add advantage to you, and personally think you could score and satisfy CHC. CHC just wants prove that you can converse well in english, since you cant prove that...

I think what they meant by 'current status' is your current visa status. I could be wrong, please check.

How long was the visa issued to you? You landed in CA on 08-09-10 and now your are saying your visa is going to expire soon...?
