Maybe I did it wrong, but I put there (on the printed proff of RPRF) the sponsored person (my mom), not the sponsor (me). I was driven into doing so by that 'Client ID number' to be filled; as I do not have such an ID, I presumed it was my mother's. So I put her Client ID and also her name &...

I see, it makes sense. I was under the impression that Decision Made is not related to RPFR. My bad. I assume you guys paid your RPRF in an early stage of your application, so that's why this subject was not of a lot of interest. Once again, I'm not on the pilot program, but on the old one.

Good news indeed! Sorry to bug you: 1. When (and how) did you pay the landing fee? 2. How you got today's request: by email or by regular mail? 3. Where (and how) are you to send the pass? (Your parents are in your home country?)

News on my side... This morning, I got e-mail (me, as a sponsor, and not my mom, as the sponsored person), issued from our LVO. It says that: The processing of your relative's application to immigrate to Canada has reached the stage where the Right of Permanent Residence Fee (RPRF) must be...

OK, thanks panjab & user828: yes, I googled it and looks like VFS (Global) does not cover all countries (not mine too).

Good news and huge relief!!!! I'm close to your timeline (started AUG 2007, med's done late APR 2012) so I hope I'll catch the next batch. I have a (dumb?) question: What VFS stands for? I thought the passeports are requested to be sent - by mail- to the Canadian Embassy in your home country.

Yes, it' s exactly what is bothering me; any hints abouts potential reasons of refusal? Any stats somewhere? P.S. I'm ready to send the GCMC request; what must be written at LOCATION (Section B, Electronic File area)? The LVO?

'Medicals passed' would mean 'Positive evaluation of the applicant, from a medical point of view'? That's great. I understood you have already asked for GCMS: did it provide you with such an information? BTW (and sorry if i'm abusing your patience): Have been here users whose applications...

Thanks, shuga; upon more reading, it became obvious for me too what F stands for. Concerning the 'Medicals Received': that's almost sure that no additional meds are required. (That's good news). But now I'm just picturalizing the worst scenario... Even without additional meds, a diagnostic...
