My spouse's e-cas has changed to In process today, September 21, 2009. The message reads as "we have started processing XYZ's permanent residence application on September 14, 2009. Her application is in Singapore now. The applicants whose file is in Singapore, can you see medical received once...

Medical report is valid for 1 year. Police clearance, I am not sure yet. If you have submitted a current one during your application, they may not ask for another.

If your application is under family class-spouse category you should do your medical beforehand. And submit the medical receipt copy along with your application. Thanks.

The medical form for your spouse can be found in the application package (you may download from CIC's website). Call the designated doctor's office and ask them what do they require to perform your wife's medical for Canada immigration. For example, your spouse has to take photographs, passport...
