34 days interview to PPT REQ email And I think our overall process will be a month or so shorter than yours. But until we get the passport in hand I'm crossing all my fingers since there is not much faith in the system

1 month after the interview where the passport was handed in along with the police clearance, we have NO email with further instructions Maybe we should be counting from the medical checkup date which was 4 weeks ago. I wonder if it's Mexico or DR where things get bogged down. I'm going ⊙_ʘ

Finally got a response to an email sent always 2 weeks ago asking how we were going to get back the passport they took at the interview. Here's what they wrote:

Nothing yet. Stupid thing about the photos. They don't care about us wasting money. A prepaid airway bill, interesting. Hopefully I can use my friend's UPS or DHL account and get a discount. Thanks

How long does it take for them to respond to an email. We sent one about 2 weeks ago to mexico-im-enquiry@international.gc.ca A simple email asking where they were going to return the passport, to VAC or to my the residence. FYI: the passport was taken at the interview

I married my wife 1 year 1 month after we met and we were approved. So based on that I don't think their minds are made up before the interview I think it is more case of your guilty until you prove your innocence sorry about your situation

Do they only do spousal interviews? Or are there other types of visa applicants that are getting interview that might cloud the stats?
