When does ECAS get updated? Please share experiences

It's worth noting that some things do not show up in Ecas; for example, I received a RQ, and that was never reflected in Ecas. I am not sure if a hearing with a judge shows up in Ecas (I have heard conflicting information about this)

Yes, ECAs is the CIC website where you can see updates on your file. I know your hearing is today, so you probably have a lot more on your mind, but if at some point you can go online and see of the hearing shows up in your profile, I would really appreciate it. Best of luck today!

Access to Information Act or Privacy Act (5$ vs Free)?

I have no problem paying the 5$, but I remember reading in a previous thread that the information gained through the privacy act is the same. That's why I wanted feedback from someone who has requested it through either of these mechanisms, which it would appear you have not done so. I would...

Access to Information Act or Privacy Act (5$ vs Free)?

I would like to request information about my citizenship application. I noticed that there are two ways to request the information: through the Access to Information Act, which costs 5$, or the Privacy Act, which is free. I am wondering what's the difference between these two, and whether...
