Hello - quick question: I was reading thru a 2013 thread about inland visa applications. One person said they received a request from CIC for police checks for all family members (siblings etc) that DID NOT apply for PR and most likely will never visit Canada. Does this happen often?

I'm a Canadian citizen... Yes, we could have applied from outside the country but we had no $$. As it is, it is still frustrating that the wait is so long for couples (not just my situation, but all couples that have been married legit for more than a year or two).

Wilson : I know that they are different processes. However they use the exact same form from CIC. I thought I could ask the Doctor for a copy of the results as well as have him fill out the 2 forms.
