My information says (obtained from Canadian immigration laywer) POF has to in principal applicant's bank account or a joint account in principal applicant and his/her spouse's bank account. POF in spouse's account is not accepted.

Dear blueray333 and aakash, As far as I know, bank account should either be in Principal applicant's name or be a joint account in Principal applicant and his/her spouse's name. Bank account on spouse's name is not acceptable.
