FBI certificate, who has done it?

I just used regular printing paper and went to my local police station. They cut it to size and did my fingerprints on that. I didn't have any trouble with them from the FBI.

    "Decision Made"... Experiences!

So... My ECAS status changed to "Decision Made" as of Friday the 28th of June. The COPR will be going directly to my attorney's office in Montreal. I am wondering if anyone has any experience here (I never got a PPR) and can give me some kind of time frame on how long it will take my attorney...

Questions about the move and traveling without PR card!

As I am going to be moving via ABF Relocubes, I need to land BEFORE getting my belongings, since they need to have proof of status, which (I assume) means they need a copy of my stamped COPR. My ECAS changed to decision made on Friday morning. We are hoping this means we will have my COPR in...

Yeah... Spoke with my attorney this morning and she said they should have it in their office within a couple weeks for sure. She said sometimes it takes a week or two for them to mail it out after ECAS changes. I'll be visiting my husband up in Edmonton for a month starting Friday the 5th...

So I just got an email from ECAS Tracker and then logged onto ECAS to confirm... My status has been changed to "Decision Made"! :o So... For those of you that had this happen to them this way (no PPR or anything), how long am I looking at?!

So I've booked tickets to go to Canada to visit my husband... I'll be leaving in two weeks from today and will be there a little over a month... I'm just paranoid that they will turn me away at the border!

My attorney told me that things haven't changed much and that things are still getting processed mainly in normal times... I swear, I would NOT recommend this firm to my worst enemy!

Okay, opinions, people!... With this strike going on, what are the chances that I'll just be turned away at the border if I go up to visit my husband at the end of the summer? Things are really bad here at home and frankly, I don't know how much longer I can manage NOT seeing my husband...

Can medical exam be done in Canada??

Indeed! I applied outland and I had my medical exam done in Edmonton while I was visiting my husband last summer.

Wonderful... I haven't heard a peep since we paid my RPRF in February. Looks like I'm not likely to be moving by the end of the Summer.

We can't contact them... We have an attorney, so they won't speak to us... We had our MP look into it though, and it is confirmed that they received everything... MP said I should hear something by the end of August.

Yeah... My medicals expire on the 18th... We were hoping to move first or second week in June... Been "in process" since Feb 19th... They asked for the RPRF, we paid it and sent in the receipt the next day... NOTHING so far. But I may be having a slightly different experience since I...

Apparently. *sigh* My attorney said that maybe the fact that the MP looked at it will expedite things a little... I'm not too hopeful.

I spoke with the MP's office today. They said that they have checked into my file and that it is "in queue for final review", and that I should hear something by the end of August.

Our attorney charged us 2000 for everything. I will certainly never recommend them, but you are right, the damage is already done and there is nothing I can do about it.

So I talked to my attorney on the phone today instead of the constant emailing with the paralegal... She says that contacting the MP was a good choice, but is sticking to her story about how not paying the RPRF upfront doesn't cause any delays... I told her that it's even stated on CIC's...
