2011 (May-November) Parents sponsorship applicants join here

Building on the good advice from @soonihope, does anyone have a concise list of what's asked when CIC does get around to processing May-Nov 2011 applications? Option C printout of which year? Any other forms/documents etc.? I assume applicants prior to May 2011 would have received similar...

    Buffalo's processing time

Got passports back from Buffalo yesterday (Buffalo took 11 business days to return them). Going to the border to land tomorrow, will post how it went.

    Buffalo's processing time

Positive. Transfer to LA means no IA from Buffalo and other consulates are generally faster. Depending on your situation, you might get a PPR within a couple of weeks. See trackitt.com for cases similar to yours.

any one aware about the fee that is required for manitoba pnp

Manitoba PNP application process is completely free. Only when you're nominated and apply to CIC is when you have to pay any fees. In fact, it is MUCH MUCH less than what the immigration lawyer is charging you. If you've completed high school, you're qualified to fill in the forms. Save yourself...

    Buffalo's processing time

According to Buffalo's site, they're taking 20 weeks for an AOR. In your case, I'd say it's about time to send them an email asking for a status update on your application. I wouldn't worry too much ... my AOR came within a reasonable amount of time but the PPR took *forever* so things can take...

    Buffalo's processing time

Buffalo doesn't like UPS/courier services ... in fact, the instructions included with the PPR email specifically state: canadainternational.gc.ca/buffalo/imm/submit_soumettre.aspx Important information regarding the return of your passports: Passports will be returned to you by US Postal...

@procan: It is kinda weird. I'm really glad you got a PPR today as well. Good luck to you as well. Keep in touch, we can track the PP coming back etc. I'm sending mine tomorrow via CanadaPost Xpresspost. @sept15: Thanks! I appreciate the encouragement throughout!

    Buffalo's processing time

Question for those (lucky ones) who have already landed ... I haven't yet gotten a PPR so this might not seem like the most sensible question: The photos you'd send along with the passport to Buffalo (in response to a PPR) are the ones which also are used for the PR card or do you provide...

    Buffalo's processing time

I got the same thing yesterday! I've seen people take around three weeks from the first time they got an update like above. I'm hoping not long. It appears we're pretty much in the exact same boat.

Nice sept15! Happy April 1st to you too. I was hoping for a PPR today, just for the irony of it. =]
