CIC can ask for either the RPRF or the medicals or both, i have varying examples among my friends. RPRF or medicals mean your work is 90% done, but nothing can be said till the time you get the visa stamped on your passport as CIC has the right to ask for additional documents etc. So Good luck...

GSM, you are lucky to have received the medical within 6 months of filing the application, there are people who have been in process for more than 2 years. Don't loose hope, keep in mind approximately 2-4 months for PPR after medicals, however, teh trend on teh forum shows that timeline for PPR...
