thanks for ur reply well actually 2 members got their pp in early-mid july....so its been about 1.5 months since no pp wid visa is back lets hope we get our pp back soon.

hello...how do u know that the decision making officers are on strike? i mean do u have a reliable source of this information?

I was thinkin the same. And y 4 days off for eid....everyone else get 3 days off.

According to CHC-I website the embassy was closed from 9th to 12th Aug for Eid and will close again on 14th thats y no tcs tracking since yesterday.

Why are they doing background check after asking for ur passport? Is there a particular reason?

Just mention ur income for the year they are asking. They must b askin it for last year. Calculate the total for that year and convert it in Canadian $$. After I got married I also got mail from CRA asking for hubby's world income converted in Canadian dollars. After that every year after filing...

I am also confused :s but earlier some ppl said that their ecas didnt change till the end so i m hoping same with us and that even if it doesnt change to in process or decision made we still get our pp soon...May Allah help us all ameen.
