From what i remember, when i applied or the file reached NDVO in January 2015, on the website the time to process the application was 14months. 17months was in the last 3-5months. From that, it should've already been processed 2months ago and visa here already.

On the website it says otherwise tho. NDVO is making up this BS about 17months from when they get it. " Spouse or common-law partner living outside Canada 17 month(s) ? Includes assessment of sponsor: 60 days View your application status online " this is from their site.. clearly states...

Definitely communicate to him asap. He might let you know which process the file is in or if they require any documents.

MPs are very familiary with this process so don't hesitate to drop by. I went before i received my GSCM notes and he told me that my file was ok and waiting to get final approval and he won't be able to speed up the process.

Oct 2014 applicant.. still haven't heard anything since re-med request in November 2014. They had updated the file on Nov 24th with medical and said some sort of deadline in December end of 2015. But nothing yet!
