    Congrats Cupid, I went in person to buffalo and they told me that it will take 3 and half hours to update the systems other side. So all you need is 3.5 hrs after your stamping and then proceed with your PR formalities. Do post us with your landing experiences. Good luck!

    I agree with dear_pnp, The decision made status is displayed once they send across the passport request but one can still reconsider the application at that stage. In my case it changed after the passports stamped.

    Buffalo stamping inperson is cool and just carry your 4 items, passports, photoes, RPRF ( if not paid already), Email printout. Plan to reach out early like 7.45 am if you want to come out early else they collect your ppts till 11.00 am. Its that simple. You can read my other detail post also.

    I guess CIC considers family cases slightly faster unless the case is stuck with Background etc., reason being you need time to plan your landing. Hope you will get your PPR soon. Good luck!

    Your best bet is to approach Indian consulate, it will be a week or two to get it by post , rather go in person to collect it on same day, best of luck!

    I dont think its a smart way coz your file wont be a complete file. In most cases the processing completes before FBI expiry and in worst case we need to be ready with second set to use them in right time when CIC requests with wasting time.
