Go on CIC's website and look for your Visa Office- Rome. There should be some info on how to contact them, both general enquiries and case-specific enquiries. For case-specific, you would need to provide the UCI# that they can reference.

I think there are people who don't see medical received throughout the process, and those who get it once their file is transferred. It's weird like that. Maybe you can send a case-specific query to the VO for them to confirm that they do have it.

I would definitely NOT ust Canada Post after my experience for anything important. I use FedEx all the time for work, as well as personal stuff and I'd bank on them. It's worth the extra cost.

If you are from the US with a US passport, they will ask for a passport scan. This is the usual case for visa exempt countries

I think you should try to send a case-specific enquiry to make sure that it is still there. CAIPS are electronic notes on the file that you can request, and it tells you everything that has gone on with it, like if it's in process, was it transferred etc. the only thing is that it takes 30 days...

Hi Achirwa, it's always a good thing when you have communication from the VO!! I'm not sure if this means they are working on the file already, or if they are just making sure it's complete for when they start processing. I don't know if your VO normally sends AORs, but I would definitely take...

Hey Christine, do you know that his application is still in NY? Our application went from Buffalo to Washington now to LA, where it presently is. To date, still no word from them unfortunately. :(. We requested CAIPS notes to see if there is anything new in his file.
