I'm ecuadorian citizen with cedula. NO criminal record

I sent my Ecuadorian police record translated with an official translator and certified by the Ecuadorian embassy. The whole process took me almost 2 weeks. What a waste of time and money! :-[

I just got off the phone with CIC. agent told me my OWP was issued and mailed yesterday. I also got my OWP app number...Im so happy!! Nov 4th/2013 applicant ..... Nov/2013 applicants should start getting OWP anytime!!

I also applied for a visitor visa extension but in my case I received by mail the approval along with a visitor record. I applied for a extension about 2 months before my original visa expired

I think what you need to get before leaving canada in order to re entry is a TRV (Temporary Resident Visa). I'm also planning to get one once I get my OWP. I'm also from a country that requires visa to enter Canada
