My ECAS finally shows Medicals Received.....I followed up with my DMP a couple weeks ago and results were sent on August 9th......so, hopefully not too much longer before I get some news.... hopefully!!! :)

It's likely to go from Application received to In Process around the time they'll send you the medical request. ECAS updating is not always quite up to date so, don't worry about it too much!

No, I received the request on a Friday. I just posted my comment here on a weekend. Hope that clarifies that. I don't know if they update anything on weekends, considering that they are government, I would say no they don't, but who knows.

Don't worry!! Employment agency assignments count towards your work experience as long as they still fulfill the NOC 0,A & B requirement. The only issue people often have with employment agencies, is that they don't want to write you the reference letter in the format CIC would like it, or if...

You only need letters to proof experience in NOC 0,A or B related positions, to proof that you do have the required experience to be eligible for CEC. Just have your employer write you the letter/s in the format CIC requests on their website and you should be fine.
