We had a appeal approved in first week of June and I received letter from CHC ND in first week of Sept. So for CHC New Delhi it is about 3 months, I am not sure about Sri Lanka.

I dont know about them, however, I know some Businesspeople got rejected even when they have planned to start business and go there for inauguration. Its all a gong show.

yes, and again it depends on their mood, one person I know here have a business with revenue of over 10 mil if you convert to Canadian $$, he have at least $25,000 in saving account, other assts over CAD 2 Mil. they rejected his Visa twice saying that he dont have enough money to support himself...

Hey.......... relax dear, Its ok, they send all PCC request at same time, so its gonna take almost same time as you would have stayed in one country for 6 months or 10 countries. Just keep smiling, feel good and time will pass quickly, if you are sad, whining .... even a small period of time...

A visitor Visa now in Chandigarh or New Delhi CHC is taking over 6 weeks now......... their official time is 28 days ...... however it is taking much longer than that

No, it actually slow downs the process. If you are applying for Visitor Visa, it just gives more confidence to VO that the person will return to his home country In case of PR, they actually get the PCC from each country you have stayed for more than 6 months since you were 18. So it will slow...

Its sent from CPC Mis. however, it will take a month or so, if you are lucky to reach ND and they actually update the ecas. It took two and half months for my file to reach ND and about three months before they informed me.

When I received my letter and request for documents from ND, they gave a B number file, also, they sent bunch of stickers with file number and bar code. I used those on everything I sent back. So waiut for the letter and other information.

hahahah! I can understand why you dont like snow. Clearing 4'-5' of snow 3-4 times a week is a lot of work. LOL.... The maximum snow I experineced on west cost was about 20" only once in 9 years. Mostly the snow is cleard in less than 4-5 days. So I dont mind snow.
