I think i didn't wrote the whole story. i applied for duplicate and it took 4-6 months so i got the receipt but the point i wanted to make in my previous post was, the interviewer didn't asked me to show her duplicate. so is it ok to show the torn one as long as it is readable.

Today was my citizenship test/interview and i presented my torned landing paper which i rearranged on scotch tape and the officer accepted it and she said if it is readable its ok.

Today was my citizenship test at Scarborough office. got 19 out of 20 and the interviewer told me that i will get letter for oath within 2 months.

did you took classes? or it was a test? if you took classes then you should know that what level you were in.

I want to know that on my citizenship interview they want me to bring all documents which i submitted with my application so is it okay to take my Passport translations with me on interview which i did not submitted with my application?

When i went for replacement they want me to give them the torned one. I refused to do so and I'm planning to go with my torned one on interview(which i rearranged perfectlly on a scotch tape)

Its very clearly stated in checklist and in citizenship application that you need to submit your passports for last six years or from the day when you became PR. So i sent my passport which covers only last 5 years as i became PR in 2011. I dont know why they sent your application back.....
