Recently someone I know applied from the middle east , even with a US visa it took them about 33 days for an update . They received a passport request a few days back. Yours should be coming soon. All the best. I am unaware of any way for updating the file.

The booking was made by booking.com in the mail i received ,but the site was Agoda.com I think. The confirmation emails i put with my applications are from booking.com .

It seems they want to know what liquid funds you have ,which are available for your stay. I repeated the same amount for my kids and spouse in their forms. Worked fine for us , by God's grace.

I didnt submit any IT returns at all ,even for myself , put up bank statements and there was no section for upload of statement or IT returns for my spouse and kids .

Until our passport was stamped with the visa and shipped , it kept saying "..in progress" . It started showing approved for our kids and then a day later for us . So don't worry, God willing you will get it , ofcourse nothing is ever 100 % but in all likely hood you will get it.

It's not necessary i suppose, but if you want to make a stronger case there are some sites which offer , book now pay later options, they dont charge a booking or cancellation fee.

it said 23 days but it guess having US visit visas helped.

We received our passports on the 9th.

Yes , applied on 1st March ,submitted passports on 3rd and received the passports on 9th evening.

I wrote that i will purchase the tickets once the visa is approved in the letter of explanation . They accepted that.

I have also submitted passports on the 3rd to VAC , our kids passports got delivered today by courier. For us it is showing the same message as you, for the kids it was showing approved in the Final decision since yesterday.

Return tickets works out cheaper so any visitor should go for that option , as for a Visitor Visa , immigration could definitely ask you to show a return ticket, although might not ask also. That being said , once you have the TRV it doesn't matter that you book the ticket for 3 weeks or three...

Submitted application online on 1st March , got the application number within a couple of hours . 3rd March around morning I got a request for passport.
