it is a longgggggggggggg wait Ranja :( and very frustrating too :( most frustrating is tht they asked for all the documents, along with med and passports and started processing 5 months later. the file has been marked for interview n is in that queue since last July :'( we havent received any...

i can understand the frustration. hope evrything gets sorted out soon n wish there is some gud luck on the way after all the bad luck u hv had.

U R VERY RIGHT USER828!! in my case we submitted evrything with passport n med in dec 2011. yet they started processing in may 2012. n in GCMS notes it shows tht 05 May was the first time they opened our file n made any comments.

Has anybody done RCMP fingerprints enquiry before?? my mother-in-law's fingerprints were taken at CHC ND in mid nov. so its 12 wks now. RCMP's processing time now (for paper based finger prints) is 18 wks. my questions are: 1) can i inquire about status of her application?? 2) Does RCMP respond...

cic does ask for fingerprints from someone who has lived in canada for more than 6 months but not from everyone who has lived here. so, if ur mom wud be the one to be asked for fingerprints; nobody knows.

my ecas up n running ...no problem n no updates :( last time something was added to ecas was in may 2012. nthng after tht :(

i think persons who have lived in canada for more than 6 months as temporary residents. my mother in law visited us twice n stayed here for 2.5 yrs (total- 2 visits). they dont ask for PCC fm canada but later ask for finger prints and make the processing muuuuuuuuuuchhhhhhhhh...

hi user.. in my case, my mother-in-law was in india when she was asked for finger prints. so finger prints were taken at CHC, New delhi.
