Hi Jcu, I only submitted the application form to NS, together with the processing payment.
Once approved, they'll send you an email to submit evidences(TOR, DIploma, JDs, POFs, et...) to your local embassy.

The visa has a 1-year timelimit for you to go to Canada, and it applies to your family as well.
What happens your family goes beyond that limit?.. considering that they were also part of the points that got you visas approved.
