Well, it's a Permanent position so it was one of those things where my employer and I didn't know for how long we can put. The LMO HR Canada gave me only said 1 year though. =/ too bad though, that would have saved me a world of a headache

Did your employer end up doing any interviews? I'm worried that I work for a big bank and I get the feeling like I'm expendable, even though I have cumulative of 2 years with this company and this department. Doesn't hurt to try though, I'll try to talk to HR in December to get things moving.

will your employer be willing to post the job for 2 weeks to satisfy LMO requirements? im not so sure mine will, considering my job is permanent and technically they're not advertising an available job.

I might be in a similar position next year if my PR does not process fast enough. Have you tried asking your employer for a Leave of Absence of some sort? That way you would still be employed by them right?

When looking at the CIC Application Times, it says the average time for Processsing is 17 months for Buffalo VO. Would this be when Full docs are sent to Buffalo? For me, this would be like Mid-October... meaning processing should be at least close to done around March 2012, Lord-willing...
