Are you really studying law and Immigration?? 8) That's great! I thought about going to school for Legal Assistant so I could work within a Law firm that only dealt with Immigration cases. Too funny! How long is it going to take you to complete your schooling?

I think that some of you should be Immigration lawyers since you know the system and process so well. :P I was curious if anyone knew what the success rate was for sponsors landing their spouses into Canada from Mexico? Is the % high? Just a random thought........ ::)

That's what I was thinking also but who knows.The 6 month mark from when they started processing Step 2 will be in July so I wont get my panties in a bunch just yet. lol

I don't know the weight of my husbands application but when it was all said and done it was 298 pages. It included everything from pics, translations, letters, etc..... I was so glad when it was done. Took me 3 1/2 months to complete. :o

Our situation hasn't changed. Still waiting for the next step from the hubby's IO. It will be 1 year June 12th that we filed. I was hoping that the clearances for PGR would be completed by now. It almost been 3 months. The waiting game is getting tiresome! :(

We don't know how easy they can be located or if they be can any time soon. Mexico seems very different then Canada when it comes to getting things done without such complications. Oh well, I guess that's a chance we had to take but good to know. Thanks!

Hey I was going to ask for a case specific but then I looked on the site and it said that if you are still within processing times then they don't allow it. True or false?? I would love to know what is going on with my husband's file. Does my lawyer have to ask or can my husband still request...

We got our AOR at in August and as you can see from my timeline the 6 month mark has come and gone. lol

What is a "Transit Visa" and why does he need that if he is flying directly to Canada?? Why does everthing have to be so damn complex! lol

Can someone tell me roughly how long it takes to get clearance for the PGR. We gave the Embassy my husbands certificate over 2 months ago and still waiting...zzzzzzz!
