I was able to pay online using credit card. The email the visa office sent me contain instructions on how to pay.

If you want to have a way to track your passport once they are sent back to you, use "XPressPost/USA". It is not required though. If you don't provide one, I believe passports will be sent via regular mail (at least true for CPP-O applicants). Also, "XPressPost/USA" only applies for US...

This is not guaranteed but I would say around 2 months from your PER date. Since you are in the US, most likely your visa office is CPP-O, right? CPP-O is processing applications pretty fast. In my case, I applied for an FBI after I received a PER.

I received my PER on 8/8/2013 and I did not received an AOR. Looks like CPP-O does not send AOR.

Yep, I mistakenly choose NY as visa office on my application form. I guess CIO does not follow that and still they are the one who determine which visa office applies to the applicant. :-)
