From what I understand CIC and federal government don't have any control over schools and it is up to school board to decide what format to use and what reports to issue.

It's sounds as solution. Thank you for sharing information. It is frustrating that they reject the whole application without clarifying on their website what they expect exactly. They could have started processing and requested additional documents later...

yes, you have to. otherwise your application is likely to be returned.

I believe they will send you application back. You can either resubmit without waiting or wait and see if anything else was wrong. It will take ~30-40days to get your app back.

Thanks. CIC agent told me this. There are no updates in ECAS since my profile was created. I have not even received AOR, an agent sent me study guide by email.

WRONG. Academic test doesn't qualify.

Started to process on October 24th. My guess is delay was caused by extra documents included in my family application (letters of employments, T4s, etc) AOR has not been received yet. My application has been already sent to Mississauga office.

I would advise husband to wait another 1-2 weeks to cover possible miscalculations of physical presence (for instance one of the stamps in my passport made CBSA was one day before I crossed the border, while in their records they had correct day). If i had applied based on stamps in passport...

Thank you for sharing your details. I am quite frustrated by CIC being incapable tracking sensitive personal information (application contains ID and other personal data), at least behaving if that was the case.

Did they provide any reason for delay? I've called them today and was told they don't have any traces of my application and that it is likely that it was lost >:( Now I am not sure what to do, to wait or resubmit. Until they confirmed they opened your application had they mentioned anything...
