I don't understand.... why do you need to calculate any points for your federal file? as far as i know the calculation is done only from Quebec side till you get your CSQ... after that...you open a file on the federal level to do the security check and medical and get the the visa issued.... no...

Hi Shahzaib your area of training = 6 points Education years = 10 points experience = 8 points english = 4 points age??? French is very important... you get up to 16 points for french... you can't get the minimum points required unless you learned and sat for french exam... You can calculate...

If you did not complete 35 years when you receive AOR you should get 16 points... You will complete 35 years in 28/7/2013 so i think you should be ok Cheers

Hi esssso, As i understand it, and since your wife is falling under the 6 points AOT, they will accept your application but they will not grant you 6 points for AOT because you are the main applicant and the 6 point AOT is granted to the main applicant not to the spouse. the link below shows...

Hi Ychsfr, there should be no problem to have two applications (one for Quebec and the other for FSW) at the same time. my advise, keep your old application with quebec, it wont negatively affect your application for FSW... Cheers!

Hi Lemans, arent they crazy to let people wait for 5 years!!! Why it takes so long on the federal level?? They only have to do a security check and medical... Does that need 33 months!!! :o Another point, since now they are not receiving application fromm everyone (only selected categories)...

So let me get this straight.... I received my AOR recently... according to the processing timelines of Quebec and Federal... I will have to wait for my Interview for 2 years ( 6 points no priority) and 33 months on the federal level (Abu Dhabi office)? total 5 years!!??
