Congratulations!! so, if they ask for PR Fee, that means they've already made the decision? And also, it seems like they're asking for new PCC's from everyone- that itself takes 2 months here in US (from FBI).

got this line added to my ecas. Just like others here :) We transferred your application to the New York office on November 3, 2011. The New York office may contact you. Your application was reviewed and we started processing on December 12, 2011. Hoping for the best. Good Luck to everyone...

i assume they've transferred applications to other offices (not all maybe) to start clearing up the backlog. You should be looking fwd to getting your meds in a few weeks time (Jan/Feb). CAIPS i guess are not real-time updated by them.

Yes. But it definitely won't be shorter because my application (like most of us here) went in 18 months ago (March2010) and there's no sign of Meds -i guess the process between getting a Med Request and Getting a Stamped Passport back alone is at least 4+ months. So, we're already way past that...

this time period they show is not an estimate of future processing, it's actually how long it took 80% of Previous applicants to get their visa process finished from the day visa office (Buffalo in our case) received their applications.

it means the total processing time is 21 months for previous applicants. It doesn't really mean anything because for last 6 months, thay have been increasing this number on this page. It was 15 months last year remember? It's obvious that we'll see "23 Months" figure next month.

This is awesome. I'm so frustrated that I'm actually laughing now. THEY INCREASED THE PROCESSING TIME TO ANOTHER 2 MONTHS. It's 19 months now at Buffalo instead of 17. Not to mention, it was 15 months when i sent my documents. Not going good (not to be a pessimistic here). so after 3 months...
