They will hold the application at the office and just ask for the additional forms. Us August applicants are going through all that. Read through the last few pages of the August outland applicant thread

I emailed the Canadian Embassy about that a while back and asked them if I need to bring our wedding certificate to them and they told me I didnt, that MINREX was enough. I can forwarding u the email if u want

I originally sent my application in August but Sept they emailed me requesting the new August version of a form. It was delivered to them Oct 1st and i still havent got SA. Seems they STILL havent opened my envelope with my form :( Sucks to wait so long for just the SA

Are we technically Sept/October applicants now that we needed to resubmit the new form? Technically the timeline doesnt start until they receive the updTed forms :S

They didnt return our packages to us...they held them. Ok so i signed all the papers in July and mailed them out' they were delivered in Mississauga August 22 as per my Canada post tracking number. I didnt get an aknowlegmebt letter or anything. The first time I Heard from them was via email on...

I think we only got 1 at first and the 2nd one took a few weeks because i remember my husband going back and forth for a few weeks to get the wedding certificate

I just went ahead and sent originals of everything i think just to be on the safe side (passport, police certificates, cuban ID) figured it couldnt hurt... They took copies of the passport and mailed it back but didnt mail back the original ID soooo I dont know what to think Lol Whatever as long...

Apparently its around 4 months from the time it gets to Havana... So hopefully in the early new year u will be reunited here in Canada with Your loved one :)
