    Medicals are valid for a year and your visa will have the same validity as your medical. So you will have to land before 3 Jan 2017.

    Yeah very confusing. Different offices have different number of applications. 18 months in general could mean work being distributed to all offices around the world irrespective of the visa office responsible.

    Send your MP an email or call the office. They generally set an appointment and you can explain your situation to the MP and they will do the enquiry for you.

    Just received a call from the MP office. Mar 06th Applicant. The current status of my application seems to be background checks in process.
