No, my partner is the sponsor - we live together in Scotland. I'll re-phrase: "my partner received his sponsorship approval letter" ;)

I received my confirmation of sponsorship approval letter today - Yay - sent from CPC-M on 14th July and arrived in Scotland, UK today...very quick.

For me, I was able to log into ecas 2 days after decision made using my online receipt number. I didn't get an email. I'm still waiting for the letter to arrive. The first time I was able to see my status on ecas was in the morning UK time.

Not sure. I assumed not. Should be your turn very soon though I think!

Your online receipt number should work to check the status of your application once a decision has been made on the sponsor application, but you probably should also try calling the call centre as when a decision was made on my app they sent a letter not an email...

Welcome to June I've added you to the spreadsheet so you can keep track of how all the June apps are doing... I wasn't sure if you sent the app on 21st or if it arrived on 21st - let me know and I'll update the spreadsheet...

No... AOR - acknowledgement of receipt is sent to applicants for Permanent Residence outside Canada once the visa office or embassy processing their application opens the file and begins processing. Check out this link from Baloo for a very useful list of acronyms...

Hey hey... you can also check your status using your online receipt number. I'm in the June group... and things are starting to move so hopefully not too long a wait for July... good luck!

That's unfortunate and frustating but at least you know it was delivered. It's possible they didn't receive your application until July. You can try calling them once they confirm they are working on application received after the 12th June... but, if it's not in progress they won't be able to...
