Hi, New York has said that they have requested my medical from Ottawa. My question is do they always look at the medical at the end? Or would they just rather have the report in my file? Just want to know how close to the end they are at....also do they do background checks for everyone? Thanks

That is a horrible situation. When our application got to Buffalo they fowarded to New York...and 5 days later they sent back all of evidence to prove our relatinship...photos, cards, emails, letters....it was all in a big enevolpe and it said Canadian Consulate in New York and all I could think...

Just to ask are you both Permanent residence in the USA--- or just students etc etc.... when you mention the I-94 this does not prove you reside in the USA this means you a visitor to the USA.

You can't call them. You can only reach them via email or fax. I say this has been a mistake from their part. What I would do if I were do I would make a photocopy of their letter and paper clip it to the documents that they claim you lost. Just state that those documents had been in there all...

This is what I copy and pasted from the website Courier address (no public drop-offs) 2 Robert Speck Parkway, Suite 1200 Mississauga, ON L4Z 1H8 Fax: 905-803-7392 In brackets it says no public drop offs....so I'm guessing you can not drop it off.

I believe there is no public drop off. This is what I read on the website when I was looking for their physical address to mail my package FEDEX, since they only provide you with the PO BOX and FEDEX does can not deliver to PO BOXes.
