Well, it will go to my spouses parent home in BC and they would then FEDEX me my card....is this legal. Also, I read some places that you have to go in person to collect the card? I'm confused...

I'm from a Visa Exempt country......I thought that I could give them an address of someone family memeber in canada so they could send the card over there and then they could mail it to me outside of canada so the next time I would go to canada I would already have my PR card.

I live outside the US or Canada so I can not buy US stamps or anything like that here. So there is no way I could include a prepaid envelope. I just hope my passport makes it back okay.

my file was sent to CPC M in Early may transfered to Buffalo in Early June and then they sent it to NY in the middle of June... Just received my Passport Request Letter.

From the country I am in the only way they could send it any other way was to have it sent via Fedex, UPS etc etc however I needed to make sure I have a corporate account....which I do not. So I just sent it and they will sent it to me via their standard procedure....which sounds scary. I hope...

Hi, My application was sent to Buffalo however fowarded to New York. They received it June 19th.....letter sent today was sent Aug 5.

Just received the passport request today....took about 70 days to get my application approved....very excited. Good luck to everyone else.

based on what I have read over and over a lot of people have blocked personal information from chats and emails that they feel uncomfortable sharing with the IO. I personally don't think it's a problem- I'm sure they wont suspect in any way that you are hiding anything. Good lucl
