in quebec, the wife keeps her name. the name doesn't change. we renewed her passport because it was expiring.

Well the name isn't changing. Its just the passport being renewed.

What's eCas? We could see these changes ourself? I wasn't aware these types of changes could be viewed through the only application status portal.

sent the email in yesterday notifying them of the change. should we both sending it by mail also? about how long does it take for them to make this change? thanks!

Because she has a closed work permit now until December. !maybe its better to wait for the OWP and then renew the OWP before December? With her current work permit she needed an LMO and it was very difficult to get in the first place. Any advice?
