    expert advices? Att. KSA members

To be very frank, if I was in the same situation, i wouldn't know how to explain this to a visa officer, without making it sound like I've done something wrong. Does your employer know that you are going to migrate to Canada? Have you written your current employer's name in the application...

You have the answer in the question itself. If your iqama (Resident visa) is transferable, then go ahead and transfer it first. Your situation may not be the cause for rejection per se, because you are not illegally staying in Saudi Arabia. But if your iqama contains one company as a sponsor and...

    any help

The transfer is neither good news nor bad news. If you have received their response as "this is done in order to expedite processing", then take it as good news. You will have to update all your documents because they are more than four years old. For example, IELTS results older than one year...

    pls advice about my status?

They will not reject your file just because someone in the visa office had a bad day. if you have submitted a genuine file and if your case is genuine, you have nothing to worry about. Three months is nothing compared to the years some people have waited for the visa process. Also dont forget...

NEVER SEND YOUR APPLICATION THROUGH CANADA POST

Well ARK, I sent my application through FEDEX to Sydney. At the time of handing over the documents, they estimated the delivery time to be 4 days. Eventually, it took 25 days, 7 phone calls 3 e-mails and one loud argument with some helpless trainee who knew nothing about the FEDEX tracking...

    certified and sealed envelope

DO NOT send originals of any educational documents. Certified copies are required and it should be certified in the way they have given in EG7. To my knowledge, sending copies of docs in a sealed envelope is not required. But its better if you can get a second opinion.

    Public Notary

What is mentioned in the application guide is, the copies should have the sentence: "I certify that this is a true copy of the original document'' What I did was, I prepared a rubber stamp myself with the above statement and then stamped the documents myself in front of the Notary.

Also when you register for IELTS at the British Council, they will give u a username and a password for a website of their own, which contains a number of practice exercises. Those are also pretty good.
